Welcome to the renowned Burslem School of Art – housed in one the most iconic Edwardian buildings in Stoke-on-Trent. The grade II listed building was reopened in 1999, following a £1.2 million refurbishment.
Originally, the building was completed in a 1905 to house ceramics and art classes for local workers. It was once the motivating force in developing artistic talent within the ceramics industry, and boasts a prestigious set of alumni including internationally recognised ceramics designers such as Clarice Cliff, Susie Cooper and William Moorcroft.
BSoA now hosts regular exhibitions featuring the work of local and national artists.
